Doug Wexler brings over 30 years of legal expertise to Maple Hospitality Group (MHG) as Partner and General Counsel. He began his career in litigation at Hinshaw & Culbertson before joining Johnson & Bell, where he represented major corporations in State and Federal Court. In 1995, he founded Wexler & Associates, building a practice that has advised businesses across industries on corporate law, contracts, employment matters, and litigation.

Doug has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, having served as Partner and General Counsel of Rockit Ranch Productions—the company behind Rockit Bar & Grill, Sunda, Underground Nightclub, and other well-known venues. He later spent over seven years working closely with Marcus Lemonis from CNBC’s The Profit, helping business owners navigate legal and operational challenges. Throughout his career, he has represented some of Chicago’s top restaurants and hospitality groups.

A longtime legal advisor to MHG Managing Partner Jim Lasky, Doug officially joined MHG as a Partner in 2023. His early experience working as a chef during college and law school gave him a firsthand appreciation for the industry. Today, he applies his legal and business expertise to support MHG’s growth, ensuring the company’s restaurants continue to thrive as destinations for unforgettable dining experiences."
